A man enters an S&M brothel where he is given a choice; sadism, masochism, or scat play. He chooses sadism and brutally whips a hot, young woman into unconsciousness. His host questions his motives and finds that the man hates women and wants only to hurt them physically but wants nothing sexual. He tells a story about his gay lover being kidnapped by a girl gang called The Bombers who are dead set on torturing this man by raping him repeatedly. The host introduces the man to S&M Hunter, the master of the sensual rope, who will train him to make women his slave and also help him save his kidnapped lover from the hot chicks who are making his homosexual penis sad by putting it in their vagina over and over and…

I won’t go too much into the specifics of the twists and turns because that would just ruin the surprises in store for you, the viewer. Let’s just say that cheesy, sleazy mayhem ensues as the Hunter becomes hunted by a forgotten nemesis! A smoking hot nemesis who likes to get dressed up in full Nazi regalia complete with a cape before the hilarious duel with Mr. S&M. The dialogue works right along side the ridiculously cheesy S&M Superhero vibe. My favorite quote is at the beginning as the angry gay man yells to his female victim, “SHOW YOUR ‘DIRTY MEAT’!”. Great stuff. The “rape” scenes of the 4 hot female kidnappers boinking their impossibly submissive captive are handled and shot like softcore porn instead of the violent sleaze of their Italian counterparts. Which keeps with the fun personality of the whole movie.

The character of “S&M Hunter” or “The Roper” (Shirô Shimomoto) is one of my new favorite exploitation characters. He is a muthafuckin’ pimp! He can take any female, no matter how strong, tie her up with his “spider web style” and make her do anything he wants and come back for more. But he won’t have any of that noise as he tells one of the victims of his orgasm inducing bondage antics that he must spread his “love” around to all women. Like I said, he’s a muthafuckin’ PIMP! “Bitch, take yo ass down the street. I can’t be bothered with just one ho. I needs them all!”*. I can’t wait for the second installment, S&M Hunter Begins. Could it be as good?

The disk quality was pretty damn good. I don’t have much to compare it to as I said in the opening, but the picture was very clear and the 35mm print looked flawless. The sound was also very good with no snaps, crackles or pops and the subtitles (which I know were painstakingly done by the guys and gals at Pink Eiga) made perfect sense which I can say is a feat in itself. Literal translations rarely work. I am very impressed with my first impression of them as a company. First, the beautiful press pack, now the impressive first DVD. Can Pink Eiga keep up this quality? Let’s hope so for the sake of all of those women The Roper hasn’t enslaved.
